Relationship challenges
Relationships can be a source of connection, belonging and support — but they can also bring conflict, disconnection, uncertainty and hurt. These challenges can arise in romantic relationships, friendships, families, workplaces and other important relationships in our lives.
Sometimes we find ourselves repeating familiar patterns: withdrawing when things become difficult, struggling to express what we need, fearing rejection or abandonment, or becoming caught in cycles of conflict. These ways of relating often have deeper roots in our past experiences, attachment patterns and the relationships that have shaped us.
Therapy offers a space to understand these patterns with curiosity rather than judgement. Together, we can explore what happens between you and others, recognise what may no longer be serving you, and develop different ways of communicating, setting boundaries and staying connected.
The aim isn’t to create “perfect” relationships, but to help you relate to others in ways that feel more authentic, secure and aligned with who you are.
