Trauma support
Trauma can arise from a single overwhelming experience or from repeated experiences over time — including abuse, neglect, loss, discrimination, unsafe relationships or environments where your needs were not recognised or met.

Its effects can continue long after the experience itself, sometimes showing up as anxiety, panic, emotional overwhelm, numbness, difficulty trusting others, feeling unsafe in your body, or patterns of coping that once helped you survive but may now be getting in the way.

Trauma-informed therapy offers a space to explore these experiences at a pace that feels manageable. We can work together to understand how the past may be affecting you in the present, develop ways to regulate distress and reconnect with a greater sense of safety, choice and control.

The aim is not to erase what happened, but to reduce its hold on your present and help you move forward with greater freedom and connection to yourself.
